I built the GEE BEE last week end. The version I ordered had the motor and servos with the plane. I am an experienced balsa builder, I am gaining more skills with each plane I build. this was my first "kit build" in foam. The foam cutting was excellent, the decal sheet provided a great finish. the decals were a little time consuming, I would like to see them cut with the same precision as the foam and wood parts. i flew it on Wednesday in an indoor soccer field (old hockey arena) I was expecting a slow floater with the tiny prop and control surfaces, NOPE this is an R1 RACER. after a little trimming was very managable in tight quarters. I found the info available online for building advise useful. I would have liked all of the soldering complete for plug and play operation. I did not attach the "wheels" to allow the CG to be placed correctly. i found upon flying the CG called for is a little forward and am moving the battery back in small increments. a great plane for some one with a little building and flying experiece. This is not a plane for a first time flyer
